PPP - Math
In math we focused way more on the statistical side of the problems we face in our country to today, learning things along the way like Standard deviation, exponential growth, Calculating taxes, minimum wages. First off we were tasked with coming up with a financial plan for ourselfs going through college, this would include 3 of our top colleges. It would also take an extensive look out how we are going to pay of our student loans (if needed) so that when we graduate we could have only little to no debt at all.

After this we got into some pretty specific research reagrding our lives once we got out of college we would use math concepts (the ones mentioned above) to figure out how much money we could have at retirement, how much deviation there is between me and my friend ETC. We looked into homes and bills and all sorts of home and car related payments and calculated how our lives would be going financially with our dream items. We also looked at how to balence a budget making minimum wage with a random number of children we are supposed to have in the future. All of this is provided below in the files and documents.

Overall I enjoyed the math portion of this project as it gave me important knowledge that I can use later on in life. It was very insightfull showing me that even with a high paying 100,000$ dollar or more a year job one will never really become a multi millionaire, you have to go out and do something and I'm happy that this project showed me this. There were some issues as this project was part of our PPP project we had to tie in certain respects from math into our position papers, things such as graphs the problem with this is that we completed all our graphs (which were really in depth and very good evidence don't get me wrong) a week and a half after we finished our position paper most of us weren't able to appropriately include these really good graphs as evidence in our papers as it was too late so we just had to put them at the end and they were kind of out of place. I would have much prefer doing the graphs earlier as I could have really used them for a strong argument in my position paper as most of the graphs were pretty astonishing. Overall I really enjoyed the project all together and it was a pleasure to share my view and opinions using some of the cold hard facts I'd researched.
