1910s art piece
This was the main component of our whole school exhibition we did in December for this we were tasked with finding an art piece from the decade we were assigned (obviously my group got 1910). We picked a painting called The Sweetest Story Ever Told by Charles Gibson, each decade had an issue the art piece had to at least touch on we were given women's rights. The art had very little information on it and thus the reason why my group and I didn't have a firm answer on what the piece was supposed to symbolize. Though we came up with the idea that due to the fact the women is playing violin, that it must have something to due with the rise in women in the arts during the time.
Once we decided on what the art piece meant we were tasked with recreating it and displaying it with our new found knowledge of the decade and the painting.
