Dog house project
The dog house project is the final physics project of my 9th grade year. We as students have to make a blueprint then a prototype and finally build a doghouse, that has to include a physics concept my concept is a whirly gig. that will be donated to a good home. This project we a strictly against puppy mills. Puppy mills are places where people have 50 - 100 dogs, all being bred and sold for a profit. Obviously terrible terrible conditions for anything to live. So with this project we a dedicated to donating and supporting people who are against puppy mills.
This is a tryptic, a tryptic is a image or a series of images making a picture in this case I have a dramatic zoom in of my physics concept. My physics concept is a whirly gig, a whirly gig is a object commonly on trailer homes. The physics behind it is based on the fact that heat rises. Heat will rise to the top of the doghouse and then be vented out by the whrirly gig.
Here is my Second draft of my tryptic. Added color / texture and more straight / detailed lines.
This is a picture of the very basic frame of the doghouse, the 2x4 going up will support the walls and the roof. Walls will be drilled into place outside the 2x4's the area in the middle with the plywood is where the dog will sit / sleep. Once completed it will be painted.
