How did you find earth based helium?
I knew the density of nitrogen taken from the air is heavier then nitrogen released from various chemical compounds. So I set about looking for an unknown gas of greater density then nitrogen.

Neon, Krypton, Xenon

What made you get into the sciences?
My father was a civil engineer and my grandfather was a chemical engineer. Well I was always interested in science, and sense I have family in the sciences. It was easier to get into a career.

Yes I did.

1904 and for chemistry in general.

Why did you say that it was a thousand pities kings collage was ever founded?
When I first started their I had to deliver the same lecture twice, once to men and once to women.

What did you die of?
Nasal cancer, probably because of my result to radioactive substances.
Interview Question #9:
Pertaining to the university, what were your thoughts on the examining board or examination in general.
The examination should play only a secondary part in the role of the university.

Oh yes I helped set up the Indian institute of science in bangalore.
